this past week i was privileged to photograph two of my favorite little girls having their birthday party together.  sisters bella and lily turned four and five respectively and had a pool party with all their favorite people and were lucky to have a cotton candy machine for the occasion!  even the adults indulged.  was tons of fun for everyone!!

a very close friend from new york visited me about 11 -1/2 years ago with his baby and i photographed them. this black and white is the result.

flash forward 12 years and he came out again this past week with both his boys, the oldest who is now 12 (the one in the black and white) and the youngest who is 10. we had such fun, went to the beach and my husband taught the boys how to fly his stunt kite. we finished up our visit with a homemade dinner and lots of good conversation. love seeing old friends!!!!!!!!

this week i met the NICEST family!  they were travelling here on vacation from houston, tx and they were having a great time in california and wanted some photographs to memorialize that.  we romped around on the beach for a while and they ended up with some great images for their memory book!!!!
