this past weekend i was honored to be a part of my oldest friend’s daughter’s pre-prom activities.  for those of you who have visited my website, vanessa is the little girl on my home page.  she was four in this photograph taken at her birthday party.

and now she’s 17.  holy cow.  when did that happen???????  everyone grows up way too fast for my taste!!!!!!  but vanessa grew up despite my wishes that she could stay little for much longer.  kids will do that, grow up right in front of you when you’re not looking!!

this last photograph of vanessa is with her parents, jeri lynn and rob gregory. shows just how much she takes after them both!
