karyn specializes in natural light, candid photography that captures the emotions of the moment — whether it’s the joy of an infant’s smile, the excitement of a family portrait.

karyn’s photographic work has been recognized by several prestigious international photography organizations. she was selected to participate in Women In Photography International’s 25th anniversary “Turning Silver” juried exhibition. her photo essay on the homeless of Los Angeles was a finalist at the 1st annual Palm Springs Photo Festival’s “Connect 06″ competition. she was chosen for honors in three categories for the 2005 IPA Photographer of the Year “Lucie Awards.”

karyn is based in santa monica, california, and is available for location photo sessions throughout the greater los angeles area, the san fernando valley, orange county and many parts of southern california, including los angeles, manhattan beach, malibu, pacific palisades, beverly hills, encino, tarzana, irvine, hancock park, culver city, studio city, brentwood, long beach, calabasas, thousand oaks, santa monica beach, huntington beach, laguna beach and hermosa beach.
