one of my greatest joys is photographing my nieces who are turning 4 this month and i recently was privileged to photograph their entire family, including cooper, their golden retriever. we shot on the beach in laguna and had a terrific time! in our family we make sure to photograph everyone a few times a year. people change so much, and it’s great to look around the house and see family portraits smiling back at me!!

well, we’re in thick of photographing families for holiday cards and blowing up onto canvas over the mantel 🙂 i met a lovely family at laguna beach a couple of weeks ago and we did just that – photographed them on the beach in as many ways possible and they ended up with a ton of wonderful images they can’t wait to enlarge and frame!!!

so continuing on with the out of state clients coming to southern california for vacation, i recently photographed a family of three from houston, texas. the couple had the cutest, sweetest 7-month old baby who basically grinned and smiled at me the entire time – what a cutie-pie! although i love photographing ANY face, baby’s faces are my all-time favorites!!!!

continuing with this summer’s trend of photographing families that live elsewhere, this is a family that was so nice and also silly!! we all had a great time and they ended up with pictures that they will cherish forever.

my summer has been filled with family photo shoots, most especially those people who live elsewhere in the country and congregate in laguna beach or newport beach, for example. almost all of july consisted of wonderful new families and everyone had a great time, as you can tell by the photos!!
