i love it when i get to photograph friends’ kids! some good friends of ours had their first child and i was lucky enough to spend a day photographing him. we had a blast!!! henry is the happiest child i’ve EVER photographed. he laughs when you do, smiles when you do and gets into all kinds of adorableness constantly!!

i love the beginning of summer because it means i’ll be meeting families from all over the country. recently i shot a family from utah who came to southern california for vacation. they are the nicest family, with lots of kids of all ages 🙂 we all had a ton of fun and they ended up with some real memorable shots.

i’ve always had a fondness for black and white photography. back when i was shooting film, i only shot black and white. ever. so this week i couldn’t resist sharing a few more favorite black and whites of kids i’ve photographed.
