i always know the holidays are nearing by the number of families i hear from who need family portraits for holiday cards. last week i photographed a really nice family just after the sun went down in malibu, and the lighting was beautiful, as was the family. see for yourself!

this past weekend i had the pleasure of photographing a really fun, really nice family under a big old tree in beverly hills. the kids were a hoot and had a great time mugging for the camera.

i love this time of year. i get to see so many of my clients with their families!! it’s fascinating to watch the babies turn into toddlers and then into young people. the photos chosen for the cards are always fun and oftentimes, multiples because they just can’t choose ONE!!

a few weeks ago my husband and i went up to the napa valley for a few days. our last afternoon we drove to san francisco to see some dear friends who had just had their first child. you can see him (henry) below. he didn’t seem to mind the flash, like most babies, and was a little fascinated.

last weekend i photographed a large extended family on the beach in malibu. there were three generations and everyone was so nice and fun and willing to climb on rocks to get a good shot. everyone had a good time and the images speak for themselves!
